How PE Two piece induction seals work?
Two piece induction seals are mainly composed of backing material, aluminum foil film and seal materials. The reinforced and anti-corrosion types have more complex structures, some PET films or corrosion-resistant films will be laminated to improve sealing performance. The seal liner needs to be sealed with an induction sealer.
The first step in induction sealing is to place the seal liner inside the plastic bottle cap and screw the cap onto the bottle mouth tightly.
After completing the first step, it only takes a few seconds to complete the sealing work. Place the container after tightening the bottle cap under the induction head of the induction sealer, the aluminum foil layer will receive an instantaneous current induction, and the temperature will rise to melt the sealing glue, so that the aluminum foil layer closely adheres to the bottle mouth. At the same time, the wax between the aluminum foil and the cardboard will also be melted so that the cardboard and the aluminum foil layer are separated, and the cardboard remains in the plastic bottle cap.
Please note that the two piece induction seals can only be used in plastic lids, not on metal bottles and metal containers. Because the instantaneous current induction will simultaneously increase the temperature of the metal lid and the metal container, thereby burning the liner.
