The EPE Foam Vented Liner is a high-performance sealing solution designed for bottle caps requiring both tight liquid sealing and pressure relief. It combines the excellent elasticity and conformability of EPE foam with a microporous vent membrane welded at a precisely punched hole. This unique construction allows internal gases to escape while preventing liquid leakage, effectively solving bulging, deformation, and seepage issues commonly caused by gas-generating contents such as hydrogen peroxide, liquid fertilizers, or certain chemical solutions.
How It Works
A small hole is punched through the EPE foam layer.
A specialized vent membrane (e.g., PTFE or other high-performance materials) is welded over the hole.
The foam provides a resilient, compressible seal that fits snugly into the screw cap, compensating for gap variations between the cap and bottle neck.
The vent membrane allows gas molecules (from decomposition or evaporation) to pass through while blocking liquids due to surface tension and microporous structure.
